Ban

Transit is prohibited for exceptional vehicles or vehicles with exceptional loads on the following days and times:


-          8.00 -12.00   Friday 21 March 2008;
-          22.00 Monday 24 March 2008 to 7.00 Tuesday 25 March 2008;
-          14.00 - 22.00 Tuesday 25 March 2008;
-          8.00 - 16.00 Thursday 24 April 2008;
-          8.00 - 16.00 Wednesday 30 April 2008;
-          0.00 Thursday 1May 2008 to 8.00 Thursday 1 May 2008;
-          22.00 Thursday 1 May 2008 to 12.00 Friday 2 May 2008;
-          12.00 - 14.00 Wednesday 5 May 2008;
-          12.00 - 24.00 Monday 12 May 2008;
-          from 00.00 Thursday 22 May 2008 to 12.00 Friday 23 May 2008;
-          from 00.00 Thursday 31July 2008 to 12.00 Friday 1 August 2008;
-          from 8.00 to 16.00 Tuesday 23 December 2008;
-          from 12.00 to 16.00 Monday 29 December 2008; 
  
except for work machinery complying with the weight limitations when fully loaded prescribed by Art. 10, par. 8 of Italian Legislative Decree of 30 April 1992 No. 285 and subsequent limitations.
 
 
 

Prohibition on overtaking

For vehicles weighing over 7,5 t when fully loaded and for articulatedvehicles towing mobile homes or trailers, 24 hours per day,in both directions, from km 0 to km 85.

For vehicles weighing over 12 t when fully loaded and for articulatedvehicles towing mobile homes or trailers, from 6:00 a.m. to10:00 p.m., in both directions, from km 85 to km 313.

Additionally, specific prohibitions on overtaking have been establishedin some particular areas (tracts with curves and low visibility, steepgrades, dangerous descents, tunnels, next to motorway entrancesand exits and/or barriers).
