IN TUNNELS IN CASE OF ACCIDENT OR FIRE
- exit the tunnel with your vehicle, if possible, otherwise park your vehicle as far to the nearside as possible on the carriageway; never make a U-turn or reverse

- switch off the engine
- put on your high-visibility jacket
- notify rescue services (emergency phones)
- only try to extinguish the fire yourself it is has just started
- if it's not possible to extinguish the fire, leave the tunnel quickly, moving away from the fire and using the emergency exits
