Pass4Core-ITA 2 (2021-2024)

The project of the European Connecting Europe Facility 2 Programme (CEF 2) sees Autostrada del Brennero as coordinator and consists in the development of a network of safe parking areas for heavy goods vehicles (SSTPA) along the Italian TEN-T road network. All parking areas will be built to the highest standards of safety, security, quality, connectivity and transparency, according to the EU parking standard of the Safe and Secure Parking Study MOVE/C1/2017-500.

The company plans to certify three HGV parking areas according to European standards:

Sadobre (BZ)

• realisation of an ICT infrastructure for the surveillance of the parking area
  
• enhancement of the lighting system
  
• adaptation of procedures to achieve the requirements for certification
  

Bronze certification

 

Trento Nord/Interbrennero (TN)

• construction of toilets and showers for drivers of heavy vehicles, divided into men and women
  
• upgrading of the access track
  
• creation of an infrastructure for surveillance and access to the parking area
  
• upgrading of the lighting system
  
• adaptation of procedures to meet the requirements for the certification

Rovereto South (TN)

• creation of an infrastructure for surveillance and access to the parking area
  
• adaptation of procedures to reach the requirements necessary to obtain the certification
