The parking area is located near the Bozen Süd motorway station (km 85) and can be accessed via the regular road network.

It is open 24/7 throughout the year and has parking spaces for both heavy vehicles and cars and/or light vehicles.

Access is free and unrestricted; however, it is prohibited for heavy vehicles transporting ADR-classified goods (“Agreement concerning the international carriage of Dangerous goods by Road,” i.e., the agreement on the international transport of dangerous goods by road).

The maximum permitted parking duration is 12 hours, and it is always forbidden to detach the trailer from the tractor unit.
The area is equipped with restroom facilities and a modern system for the production, storage, and distribution of hydrogen (H2).

In May 2025, the company opened the first 1 MW charging station for heavy vehicles at the Firmian parking area, developed by Alpitronic.
