Service areas
The Brenner Motorway defines itself as a “proximity motorway,” a reality that lives in close symbiosis with the territories it crosses, promoting opportunities for economic and social development while paying great attention to environmental protection. In this spirit, the Company is committed to transforming rest areas into genuine places of refreshment that enhance local identity, landscape, and culinary traditions, while also offering innovative services in line with progress and contemporary needs.
Along the A22 there are 22 service areas: 11 in each direction, approximately 30 km apart and open 24 hours a day.
The management of the catering and distribution services of fuel lubricating products at the service areas was entrusted by means of a publicly visible procedure prior to the entry into force of the resolutions of the Transport Regulatory Authority 130/2022 and 1/2023 and the related contracts stipulated with the managers of the results awarded from the sublicending award procedures are still in force.To date, there are no quality indicators in the sublicensing contracts in accordance with the provisions of the resolutions of the Transport Regulatory Authority 130/2022 and 1/2023. Control and monitoring of compliance with the contractual obligations provided for in the sub-concession contracts are constantly carried out by internal personnel and external companies (mystery clients and customer Satisfaction).
The service areas are undergoing major redevelopment works, which include not only the reorganization of interior spaces and the introduction of new services, but also the architectural enhancement of the facilities in harmony with the local context. The information sheets for each service area provide details of all available services, as well as the prices applied for oil and non-oil products.
