Traffic Management

In the event of disruptions to normal traffic flow, Autostrada del Brennero and the Road Police intervene jointly, involving other competent authorities whenever necessary.

Possible disruptions

  • Road Accidents

  • Heavy or congested traffic

  • Construction sites and work in progress

  • Adverse weather conditions

  • Traffic prohibitions and restrictions

  • Transit Restrictions in Austria

  • Loss or spillage of cargo from vehicles

  • Animals on the carriageway

  • Vehicles stopped in the lane or broken down
