Calculate toll
Tolls are determined using the mark-up method and are established by an Interministerial Decree of the Ministry of Infrastructure, working in tandem with the Ministry of Economy and Finance. From 2021 to 2025 no increases were recorded, while from 1 January 2026 a tariff update of 1.46% was decreed.
Tolls are fees charged to use the motorway and are determined on the basis of the motorway construction, management and maintenance costs. Tolls are calculated by multiplying the kms driven by the unit per km and then adding VAT. The value is rounded up or down by 10 cents. The amount of the toll can be calculated by multiplying the kilometres travelled by the unit rate per kilometre, depending on the type of vehicle, according to a system based on the number of axles and the vehicle height at the first axle.
