Infrastructure

The A22 is one of the main transport routes between the Po Valley and Central Europe. The motorway forms part of the A1 motorway network and extends to the national border, connecting Modena to the Brenner Pass and continuing on into Austria andGermany. The motorway is 314 kilometres long and crosses through four Italian regions: Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige/South Tyrol, playing a strategic role in the movement of people and goods along the north-south European corridor.

Car parks for light vehicles

Autostrada del Brennero has built car parks for light vehicles at the exits of all motorway stations to encourage the optimised use of vehicles, thereby helping to reduce air and noise pollution. Electric vehicle charging points have been installed at the car parks in Bressanone, Rovereto Sud, Affi and Mantova Nord.
